This International Women's Day, the Vitamin Angels community joined us in honoring women across the globe and raised awareness about the importance of health equity for expectant moms. Maternal health is the foundation for strong families and communities. This was one of our largest corporate partner social media activations yet, reaching over 1 million people and generating hundreds of likes, comments and posts.

 Making a Meaningful Impact through Education & Intervention 

Honduras is home to over half a million children at risk of Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH) infections caused by parasitic worms that prevent nutrient absorption. Indicators such as limited access to running water and septic systems perpetuate infections worldwide.

To reach nutritionally vulnerable children in Honduras, Vitamin Angels partners with CAMO, a humanitarian organization that brings life-saving medical services, education, and community development to Central America.

World Health Day is a significant global health awareness day, drawing attention to the critical health issues affecting people worldwide. Inadequate maternal and childhood nutrition is one of the issues that remains a major challenge in many parts of the world. 

To address this issue, Vitamin Angels aims to double our impact by 2033 to reach 140 million women and children annually with life-changing nutrition solutions including vitamins and minerals.
