• Take a stroll on Downtown Santa Barbara's State Street where local shops and local culture are on full display.
• Walk, run, or rent a bike and enjoy the beautiful waterfront between Chase Palm Park and Shoreline Park.
• Swim, surf or sail in the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Favorite spots include: Hendry’s Beach (aka Arroyo Burro), Butterfly Beach and East Beach. 
• Take a hike. Whether it’s a quick jaunt up to Inspiration Point (2-3 miles) or along Rattlesnake Trail (3.5 miles), or a more ambitious trek to Montecito Peak (9 miles), Santa Barbara offers some lovely trails with stunning views.

Culture

• Santa Barbara’s Courthouse is the centerpiece of our Spanish-Revival style. Stop in to check out the gorgeous architecture or enjoy a picnic in the gardens. 
• Santa Barbara’s iconic Old Mission is a must see for culture or history enthusiasts (the Rose Gardens across the lawn are quite something too!) 
• Stearns Wharf offers the quintessential SB visitor experience with dining, treats and views of our incredible coastline. 
• Sunday Morning check out local arts and crafts along the Art Walk at the beach.

Breakfast Bites:

• Find authentic and original SB cuisine at Lucky Penny.
• Fresh, sustainable, and seasonal menus make Scarlett Begonia one of a kind
• Tupelo Junction Cafe offers hearty Southern-inspired meals, any time of day.

• We would be remiss not to recommend La Super Rica, it’s a casual local favorite once frequented by Julia Child.
